Hello Wikimedia Affiliates;

We want to update Wikimedia movement affiliates on the progress of the Universal Code of Conduct, one of the recommendations of the Movement Strategy process that many of you are familiar with.

Recently, the UCoC enforcement guidelines have been updated to reflect the feedback that the community provided during the consultation period earlier this year. Now, the final ratification is due. All community and affiliate members are invited to vote from 17 January 2023 until 31 January 2023 23:59:59 (UTC) via SecurePoll . 

Members of affiliates might be eligible to vote even if they do not meet other criteria. Please review the voter eligibility criteria and share this information with your membership. Your membership can also verify their individual eligibility using the Account Eligibility Tool. These criteria are the same as those used for the recent Board of Trustees election. 

Please reply to this email with the list of usernames who should be eligible to vote by January 5, 2023. There is no need to include people who are eligible under the other voter eligibility criteria.
