16 African Women Translate-a-thon is upcoming. I wish that we use the opportunity to translate at least one article into Akan for our Akan Wikipedia which has been neglected for a long time.

Yaa Asantewaa is on the list and I was hoping we can improve her Akan article.

I wanted to suggest activities late in the year dedicated to the Akan Wikipedia and other local languages if there are editors to support.

However I think we can start today.

If you are interested please write to me stei@wmgh.org. Please if you are already involved in Barcamp Wikipedia  I'll suggest you don't join OR you drop it to join this instead. You might burn out.

If you can handle both w/o any problems, you are always welcome.
