Its a lovely morning on my part of the world. I'm sure many of you know myself and other 3 ghanaians were at the first ever conference for wikimedians across africa which was held in Johannesburg, called Wiki Indaba. In short, it was a success. 

One thing myself and the other attendees from Ghana learned from the conference was the fact that, we need to be recognized as a User Group first before we can move on to apply for chaptership from the WMF.

I have put together this page on Meta as a starting point.[1] By the end of this week, an email will be pushed to the AfCom for consideration to make us a Wikimedia Ghana User Group.
