I am please to bring to your attention the 2^nd Africa Open Data Conference 2017 (Scheduled) to be hosted by  Ghana and Supported by the Africa Open Data Collaboratives and partners across the world. The conference will take place in Ghana at the Accra International Conference Centre from July 17 – 21^st 2017. The core theme for this year’s conference is: “Open Data for Sustainable Development in Africa” supported by Seven (7) sub-themes: Heath, Education, Agriculture and Nutrition, Energy, Gender, SDG’s and Extractive Industry.

The 2^nd Africa Open Data Conference aims to strengthen the use of open data for innovation, job creation and grow in Africa. In partnership with civil society and private sector, Governments are modernising their own processes, improving service delivery, and increasing transparency and citizen satisfaction. A world class roster of speakers and open data experts committed to furthering the transfer of knowledge across African countries and globally will be speaking at the conference.

We invite you to share in the knowledge and network with industry, business and in governance professionals on open data from around the globe. The conference offers you the opportunity for face-face discussions and to introduce wide area of issues related open data policy globally and roadmaps to reaching the SGD’S by 2030.
