Hi Everyone,

The Chale Wote Street Art Festival is back again this year on the 23rd and 24th of August.

This year’s edition seeks to explore the history of Accra, the city, through its origins in James Town and an examination of this place in relation to death and rebirth. The theme for this year’s festival is 'Death: An Eternal Dream Into Limitless Rebirth. There will be art exhibitions that remodel our perceptions and interactions with design in public spaces, as well as other attractions.

If you are interested in supporting the artists and manning work stations as a volunteer during the festival, kindly contact volunteer@ghanathink.org

PS: Sandister started an article on Wikipedia [1] last year we can work on an edit-a-thon sometime or other collaborations with future editions plus getting more free images (CC-BY-SA) on Wikimedia Commons for worldwide usage. We can start a different trend on this. Also a publication by The Guardian about Chale Wote [2]
