Will it not be said as the paid editing? Because the winners will be paid money, or vouchers or whatever because of their edits.
I hardly see any difference between this and paid editing. Its like encouraging someone to edit anything he likes, and reimbursing him or her at the end.

It has been run twice: first in November/December 2004, and then December 1–31 2013. Nine years is a long time between drinks! It is running again, from 1 - 30 September 2014, with prizes (Amazon vouchers) awarded a few weeks afterwards. The prizes will be a 100 Euro voucher for Amazon for first place, €50 for 2nd place, €25 for 3rd and 4th place, with €25 special prizes for the editor who de-stubs the oldest stub (dated from first day of creation) and €25 special prize for the editor who de-stubs the stub that received the highest number of page views on September 1st 2014 (i.e. the first day of the competition).Good luck! :-)- Enock
