Hi Ofori,

I was able to see the contents of the article prior to deletion by User:Seraphimblade, and I agree that the article was really promotional.

When writing on topic like this in the future (or rewriting the deleted article), avoid mission and vision statements. These statement does not establish the subject notability and from what I read from the article, they were promotional in tone and purpose. In addition, it appears to have been written by the organizers themselves. Where is the source of these mission and vision statement? Probably, the organization website? Well, this is a primary source and Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, and secondary sources.

More so, the article relied heavily on primary sources. They were blogs and the organization's website.

If you plan to rewrite the article in the future, I'll advise that you should submit it through Wikipedia:AFC.

Regards,

Isaac

Greetings to all:

So I just created a page and it's already facing deletion, will anyone be kind enough to give it a look to see what's wrong there please?

Thanks a lot and feel free to make edits and contest deletion. Here is the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Star_International_Film_Festival
