Hello guys,

As part of our out programmes I suggest we should contribute to the Cookbook in Wikibooks. You can check it out here http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cookbook:Table_of_Contents

We will also strive to get listed here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_recipes

Now with this project I am trying to enlist the help of Mrs. Yvonne Nduom wife of our own Paa Kwesi Nduom. I chose Mrs. Nduom because I have followed her Facebook page for a while now and she is very keen on Ghanaian recipes. She posts about them on her official page.

Also being a woman public figure with such an interest she will be the best person to also endorse the Cookbook on Wikibooks. She is likely to participate because I think this also good for her public outreach in support of her husband’s campaign.

What’s more, food blogging and writing is currently trending. I believe it will be a worthy cause.

My plan is simple, after our outreach in Accra (I hope you have informed yourself on this) students in Achimota School and Accra Girls will be selected to collect articles from Mrs. Nduom. They will work with her with supervision from a team member. Mrs. will create a Wikimedia account and (become a Wikimedia of course) and she will contribute the recipes all in her name to her credit.

We will seek permission from her to use her name on our social media platforms to make some noise about getting aspiring first ladies on board our outreach.

At the end of the day, PWMGH wins, Mrs. Nduom wins, Wikimedia wins, Ghanaian content on Wikimedia wikis also win.

If it is successful and other aspiring first ladies are interested, more culturally diverse recipes will make it to Cookbook and Ghana wins some more.

End of project.

Kindly let me know what you think.

Tasks: Ato any advice?

Oral can you help me write a letter to Mrs Nduom?

Rex should I add this to the grant?

Georgina, Kweku, Roy and co you have been quiet what do you think? Will you volunteer time for meetings with Mrs. Nduom if she gives as the nod and come with me to Motown and Accra Girls?

Regards,
Sandister Tei
