We are pleased to announce that there are two scholarships available for postgraduate students or early career researchers.
aaDH scholarship for Geographic Information Systems for Digital Humanities
Sponsored by Australasian Association for Digital Humanities (aaDH)
aaDH is a member of the international Alliance of Digital Humanities Organisations, and acts to support and extend links between digital humanities researchers, improve professional development opportunities and provide international leverage for local projects and initiatives.
This scholarship covers tuition fees for the GIS for Digital Humanities course.
SHARP scholarship for History of Cartography/Maps
Sponsored by the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (SHARP)
SHARP was founded to create a global network for book historians working in a broad range of scholarly disciplines. With more than 1000 members in over twenty countries, SHARP works in concert with affiliated academic organizations around the world to support the study of book history and print culture.
This scholarship covers tuition fees for the History of Cartography/Maps course.
To apply for a scholarship you must:
- Be a postgraduate student or early career researcher
- Be an existing/new members of aaDH or SHARP
- Complete the expression of interest form, stating why you are applying for a scholarship and how the course will benefit you in your current and future endeavours.

Please note that courses run for five full days 26-30 January 2015. There will also be a student orientation event from 6pm Sunday 25 January, which students are strongly encouraged to attend.
