*Aim of project*
*Simplify the search for information on Ghana's 2016 general elections,
making Wikipedia the one stop shop for knowledge on the polls
*Wikimedia Ghana Usergroup will use the opportunity to recruit new editors
by inviting citizens to join edit-a-thons and also improve information on
the wiki
*Who can participate in edit-a-thons?*
*Everyone and open to public
*Team to run project*
We need a team of about 10 volunteers to fill the positions of
Project Lead(Vacant)
Social Media Lead (Justice)
Events Lead (Georgina)
Grants/Finance Volunteer (Vacant)
Volunteers (2 for articles on people) (Vacant)
Volunteers (2 for articles on places) (Vacant)
Volunteers (2 articles for issues) (Vacant)
*Criteria to volunteer*
Please have about 100 Wikipedia edits and you should be interested in
election-related issues.
*Deadline* for expressing interest is Wednesday 14 September midnight
*First meeting* is on Saturday 17 September 2016. Please if you intend to
participate, once you are selected, you must attend unless you don't live
in Accra.
