The twelfth DCW Conversation Hour is happening tomorrow and Tanveer Hasan, the executive director of the Centre for Internet and Society, India (CIS), is our featured speaker. The conversation hour aims at understanding the complexities around affiliates and communities in the Wikimedia ecosystem. 

Our speaker Tanveer has formerly worked with the Community Resources Team at the Wikimedia Foundation, where he supported the development of the Wikimedia movement in South Asia. His expertise is not limited to the Wikimedia ecosystem. He has previously been an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Indian Languages in Higher Education at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), in Mumbai, as well.
