Greetings everyone,

I am thrilled to announce ThePoeticFrame (Aasif Amin) as our fellow for the Heritage Lens initiative at the DCW. The initiative aims at improving Wikimedia Commons with thematic images related to heritage supported by our theme. 

ThePoeticFrame is one of the founding members of the Wiki Club Jamia, a student-led extra-curricular club at Jamia Millia Islamia, in India. I have reviewed some of his work and I am hopeful that his contributions to Heritage Lens would help us lessen this gap on Wikimedia Commons. 

This iteration of Heritage Lens is focusing on bringing media from Kashmir, particularly, the culture and heritage-related media, which has mostly remained un-documented.
