This isn't an official Wikimedia D.C. Meetup, but I have been in contact with officers.

The idea is that is is an informal, cross-chapter meet and greet with a few of us from Wikimedia NYC. Feel free to schedule such an event next time you are in New York! We want to get to know our regional Wikipedia peers and support your projects, and meeting in person should be a good way to continue the conversation.
