Thank annual FemBot edit-a-thon is now taking place at the University of Maryland, after being on the west coast for the past few years. I facilitate the edit-a-thon each year. 

It's a two day event, March 9-10. 

Would Wikmedia DC be interested in sponsoring both or either event days? I'm not sure how the process works, but, it would be great to partner!

I've attached an overview of the event and I'm creating an on-wiki event page today. 

On a personal note, I'll be in Washington DC for pleasure March 11-15. I have a friend visiting with me from California, too. I look forward to perhaps connecting with a few of you. 

I prefer to use email over other systems of communication, but I'm happy to schedule a conference call or Hangout if needed re: sponsorship. If you message me on Facebook or Twitter, I most likely won't respond.
