Hello everyone,<div><br></div><div>As Wikimedia DC expands its portfolio of programs and activities in the coming months, we&#39;re looking to add some new volunteers to our advisory committees.  The committees advise and assist our Board with various matters in a particular area of our activity.</div>
<div><br></div><div>We&#39;re currently looking to add members to four different committees:</div><div><br></div><div>(1) The Fundraising Committee, which helps the Board prepare grant applications and solicit funds for our chapter.</div>
<div><br></div><div>(2) The Governance Committee, which drafts legal documents and policies for the Board.</div><div><br></div><div>(3) The Grants Committee, which reviews and evaluates applications submitted to our small grants program.</div>
<div><br></div><div>(4) The Technology Committee, which helps to maintain our technical infrastructure.</div><div><br></div><div>More details about the individual committees, including lists of their current membership, can be found on our website at <a href="http://wikimediadc.org/wiki/Committees">http://wikimediadc.org/wiki/Committees</a>.</div>
