The creation of the list was requested during Wikimedia Hackathon 2016.[2]
We
hope to use the list to discuss ways to foster cuteness within the
Wikimedia movement. We'll also discuss organizational matters relating to the
prospective thematic organization status, such as new board members and
advisers.
