Hello Everyone,
As we all know, there is an upcoming Wikimedia workshop in early 2017 to be
held in Buea, Cameroon. This workshop will train interested attendees on
installation and local setup/config of MediaWiki and also usability of
VisualEditor. This workshop will take place on the same day and to register
for this workshop, do so by visiting this link:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdmLa7sBoRbSu5c8Dn5TfpEDx-CA4DS2PT…
.
Please as the registration is on-going, do well to inform as many people
possible to register for the workshop. This training will go a long way to
help members of the community in various domains like software engineering
and development on real life projects and also how to write beautiful
articles and publish on Wikipedia and other information sharing mediums. Do
well to share the registration link in WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups and
where many users can be reached.
We have less than a month to close the registration and do make the
information to reach as much users as possible so they can register. For
more information about the host of this event (Wikimedia Community User
Group Cameroon), visit this link:
