New subject: Wikipedia Class Panel Details

Greetings! Just a final reminder: You are all invited to my class on online communities later today (Monday November 3rd at 5:30pm). The class meets in the Communications building (CMU) room 104 at UW. My students have been preparing questions for you all so /please/ come and help answer their questions! Over the last six weeks, my class has been learning about Wikipedia and writing articles. You can check out the articles they've created on the course website in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_Program:University_of_Washington/In… We've also been talking quite a lot about Wikipedia, it's policies, etc. as an example of a mature and complex online community. We've had visits already from JMo and Peaceray. You can read the syllabus here: http://mako.cc/teaching/2014/interpersonal_media/ There's no need to tell me in advance if you're coming but I'd appreciate the heads up if you have a second so I know who to expect.
