Following up on our earlier discussions, Pharos has helpfully provided me with a copy of WMNY's 501(c)(3) application which was prepared with the assistance of pro bono attorneys. I am hoping that if we follow WMNY's example, that we can file without needing to pay for outside assistance from an attorney, accountant or consultant. (: I'll keep the preparation fees in the budget for now, but hope that we will need to make little or no use of them.

One gateway to the wide garden of knowledge, where lies
The deep rock of our past, in which we must delve
The well of our future,
The clear water we must leave untainted for those who come after us,
The fertile earth, in which truth may grow in bright places, tended by many hands,
And the broad fall of sunshine, warming our first steps toward knowing how much we do not know.
