I'm planning to be there (:
You might suggest to students that they could browse through a few issues of the Signpost and/or look at the WMF grants and finance pages on Meta so they can ask good questions of me. (:

Just a final reminder: You are all invited to my class on online
communities later today (Monday November 3rd at 5:30pm). The class
meets in the Communications building (CMU) room 104 at UW. My students
have been preparing questions for you all so /please/ come and help
answer their questions!
Over the last six weeks, my class has been learning about Wikipedia
and writing articles. You can check out the articles they've created
on the course website in Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_Program:University_of_Washington/Interpersonal_Media_%28Fall_2014%29
We've also been talking quite a lot about Wikipedia, it's policies,
etc. as an example of a mature and complex online community. We've had
visits already from JMo and Peaceray. You can read the syllabus here:

There's no need to tell me in advance if you're coming but I'd
appreciate the heads up if you have a second so I know who to expect.
Regards,
Mako
