If we keep the the Mercer Island Library end to one or two sessions, we may be able to do Google Hangouts with maxing out the bandwidth at the library.

Hi all, we are confirmed for meeting at the Mercer Island Library on Tuesday, January 27, from 6 PM to 9 PM. We will use the large meeting room on the left side of the lobby.

I asked a library staff person about whether the library wireless service is fast enough to facilitate an online meeting. They said that people do use the wireless for Skype calls, but the bandwidth availability varies considerably throughout the day. In case Hangouts doesn't work, people can dial into the meeting using the Cascadia phone number for a conference call: (206) 659-7420

I have posted an updated agenda. Please sign here to RSVP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Seattle#Upcoming_events

This is an Encyclopedia
One gateway to the wide garden of knowledge, where lies
The deep rock of our past, in which we must delve
The well of our future,
The clear water we must leave untainted for those who come after us,
The fertile earth, in which truth may grow in bright places, tended by many hands,
And the broad fall of sunshine, warming our first steps toward knowing how much we do not know.

Hello,

I am happy with the progress of the last meeting and enjoyed every time someone said something that stunned me into silence and reflection. Experiencing the amount of positive criticism that came out of this meeting is the reason I enjoy participating in these things. I hope that others found this as meaningful as I did. Like Pine, I agree that this meeting moved consensus forward a lot. I also believe that solid agreement on the spirit and scope of chapter business is close at hand.

I look forward to joining the next session and think that all challenges are close to resolution.

yours,

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who attended Tuesday's meeting, including participants who were teleconferencing from New York, Portland, and San Francisco. We had an excellent meeting that moves Cascadia forward, with many people contributing thoughtful suggestions.

We will need to get to the remaining business from Tuesday's meeting, including wrapping up the budget, then moving to bylaws, our website, and the trademark agreement.

I have requested meeting space at the Mercer Island Library on Tuesday, January 27 from 6pm to 9pm. I tried the Kirkland, Bellevue and Redmond libraries but they were already booked on that day. I am awaiting confirmation of our reservation.

Please do read the relevant documents ahead of our meeting so that the discussion can proceed efficiently.

Thanks! I will follow up when I have confirmation of the reservation.

Pine
