I think the IP editor is a vandal, but I think this question is good for us to discuss anyway.
We are discussing two points about the affiliation agreement with Affcom and WMF Legal that I hope will be resolved favorably early next week. I am also waiting for more information from two potential board members. Hopefully we can set up our first board meeting in the next few weeks.
For our next regular Seattle meetup we can plan on the second Tuesday in October at Allegro.

While I think that the effort to host WikiConference USA would help Cascadia Wikimedians itself scale up regardless of the year, I also believe that an anonymous edit adding Seattle to the list of Wikimania 2016 bidders is unconscionable without first getting a consensus within the user group. Even with a consensus, there should be no IP posts "volunteering" Seattle, anyway.
