LibreOffice is holding an awesome WEEKEND HACKFEST,
this weekend, July 26-27 in Boston, and we're looking for new volunteers
to join us for two intense days of coding, bug fixing, triaging,
designing, and documenting.
Don't worry, we're not going to let
you starve. We'll have pizza, sandwiches, drinks, and FREE T-SHIRTS for
all of our hackfest participants. WARNING: Please do not try to eat the
T-shirts.
Why should you attend? The free food. Why should you
stick around? The Free Software.
LibreOffice wants to make it
even *easier* for you and your friends to MIGRATE AWAY from PROPRIETARY
OFFICE SUITES, but we're going to need your help to make that
possible.
If you're a WICKEDLY-good C++ hacker, a python DABBLER,
a technical writer, a walrus, a bugzilla novice, an ENTHUSIASTIC
LibreOffice user, or somewhere IN-BETWEEN, then we want to see YOU at
LibreOffice's first Boston hackfest.
We have limited seating for
the event, but we'll definitely be BACK TO Boston in THE FUTURE, so feel
free to sign up in the 'Standby' section and we'll call you up the next
time we're planning something!
We're looking forward to
working with you!
