This sounds like something the Schlesinger might be a good host for. Any

I would love to get something going on this for the Boston area. Would
anyone be willing to take the reins on organizing it? You would need to:
Find and confirm a location; set the time; be there for the duration of the
event; be the point-person for any inquiries. We can recruit for it at the
Jan 18th party, but I think we should have figured out logistics before
then.
NB: I will be more than happy to attend the event and help present and/or
tutor newbies. If I can find a committed host, I will also work with you to
add the event to various Wiki pages + our
Meetup.com group. I just don't
have time to organize a full thing from scratch.
