Need a break?  Looking to celebrate Earth Day?  As part of Boston University’s Online Earth Day celebrations, we will host a Sustainability-themed Wikipedia-Edit-a-thon on Thursday, April 23, 2020, from 3-6 p.m. (Eastern).  We’re particularly interested in topics related to sustainability, but you can also improve your own favorite topics. Thursday, April 23, 2020, from 3-6 p.m. (Eastern). The event will include:

• A presentation by MIT Librarian and Wikipedia expert Phoebe Ayers on the many sustainability and climate change related initiatives in the Wikimedia Community
• An introduction to Wikipedia editing
• Support and troubleshooting by BU Libraries staff

How to participate:

• Register in advance. by April 22 at 3pm (Eastern).  We will provide you with a Zoom link prior to the event.
