And because it seems like I should mention it--I am the librarian for our local lace group. If you didn't know there were local lace groups, it's because the lace groups are largely not in Wikipedia yet (part of our problem). New England Lace Group (https://nelg.us/) is a chapter of the International Organization of Lace (https://internationalorganizationoflace.org/). We need pages at least for the large national/international groups. The European version is OIDFA. https://www.oidfa.com/. 

We are mildly jealous that the UK has a page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lace_Guild

We have a loose group here in Boston and haven't been meeting regularly for a few years. Anyone is welcome to call a meetup or editathon and advertise it here. The fiber arts idea sounds cool! 

Sam Klein and I (very nominally) lead the group, and we are very happy to see any activities anyone wants to do! I'm also a librarian :)
