I teach Spanish. Do you think my students could add to this?
I agree a service project based on photos of local historical sites may be the best fit, as a fun activity in itself, and as the students may be too young to jump into the midst of the regular Wikipedia editing community.A possibly complementary option could also be a pursued with a Wikimedia sister project other than Wikipedia, such as Wikibooks, where for example this has been developed by elementary school kids and their parents:
