* This Friday, Jan 8, MIT Libraries will host a Wikidata edit-a-thon! Join us at 1pm to learn about to edit Wikidata, explore Wikidata items related to MIT, and learn more about Wikidata queries and tools. We'll also introduce some works that are coming into the public domain, and explore editing with these. Learn more here:

* Friday, January 15 we will celebrate Wikipedia's 20th birthday! Watch the global celebration from 11-12 and then join us from 12:30-2 for a panel with contributors and editors of the MIT Press book "Wikipedia @20". Then we'll have an informal gettogether and toast at 5pm.
