I'm also available on Sunday 5/8, which it sounds like there's momentum for.  Unless anyone would prefer me not to, I'll change the date on http://www.meetup.com/wikipedia-5/ to reflect the 5/8 date tomorrow morning.  I assume we'll meet at our usual place and time, i.e. 7:00 PM at Clover Food Lab in Harvard Square.

With regard to the Great American Wiknic, Boston Common seems like a natural venue.  As http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiknic mentions, the event is scheduled for Saturday June 25, or if there's rain Sunday June 26.  Is there any kind of permit that we should look into for this?

I like the idea of meeting at BU in future meetups.  It would be especially useful to meet there in the Fall, too, if there were Campus Ambassador programs at BU then.
