It's nice to be part of your discussion list, thank you

@Avijit - you are welcome. And just to clarify, Banglalink has held the public announcement while they test the implementation in the public market. I would appreciate it if we could please keep the news under embargo until Banglalink makes their announcement. We don't want to diminish the story and lose out on news coverage. I am happy to connect you to Banglalink's PR team if you would like a scoop. Thanks!

@safwan - that's very important news for me, thank you! We were set up and testing with Grameenphone, but I didn't know they launched zero.wikipedia.org publicly. I will reach out to Grameenphone.

@ragib - thank you! It would be most helpful to chat via google or skype to brainstorm together. I don't have a preconception, just want to tell the real story. I will email you directly to see if we can set up a call. Thanks!

(I was late in joining the mailing list, so pasting Ragib's reply here for reference)
Hi Carolynne,

That's an awesome news. What type of stories do you want to hear? I've been
involved with the bangla wiki project since 2006 and can discuss the
overall development and growth of the bangla wikipedia. Let me know how I
can help.

Regards,

Ragib

Dear Carolynne,
Glad to know this information. Please be informed that, another
biggest mobile phone operator Grameenphone also started providing free
Wikipedia to their users. Its possible to browse zero.wikipedia.org
from their network for free.
I also hope, they will announce it shortly.
Regards
Safwan
