We had a meetup at Wikimania 2017 to talk about Asian Wikimedian collaboration in the coming year. Notes of the meeting are here:

According to the meeting, there will be Wikimedia Asia Month as usual. We're also trying to do a Wikimedia Asia regional conference, likely in Indonesia. The various organisers will get make announcements on this mailing list in due course.
