Apparently it would be great if we can suggest one person from Asia to elect for the seat of the board. And I don't think it is still the time we choose a representative from the non Asia country , like European.

The Foundation has identified "Global South" countries as a focal point for the movement's strategic growth internationally.  I expect that many of the future Global South programs will target countries in Asia.  For that reason alone, we must have community representation on the WMF board to ensure that these programs ultimately empower volunteers, and allow them to autonomously address local and regional concerns.
