I wouldn't worry about that, simply because the most recent Wikimania was in Hong Kong which isn't half a planet away from Bali. Every Wikimania has been at least 6 hours on a plane from the two previous Wikimanias, so I doubt the worldwide community would want another western pacific Wikimania until at least 2016.

Honestly the bid doesnt look a winning bid, .. yet?
The first problem I see is the team doesnt appear to have anyone
living in Bali. I am not sure that can be fixed, as I am not aware of
many (regular) Wikipedians on Bali - I know of a few expats who
support Wikipedia and they edit infrequently, but I doubt they would
be keen to be part of a conference organisation team.
Other issues that can be fixed are lack of details regarding venue,
program and budget.

has an opportunity to reach out to the proposers with feedback and

After April 1, the jury committee will further evaluate and
deliberate, with a decision and recommendation made by mid-April to
the WMF and Wikimania Steering Committee.
