I think Bangkok would be the most strategic point for Wikimedia communities. If they could just come up with enough warm bodies to organize it there that will be great, plus other Wikimedia communities could probably be in charge of other specific tasks in order to see the fruition of such a regional conference.

I believe it will strengthen regional cooperation among the chapters in Asia and might act as a starting point of generating lots of new ideas for regional development.
