The main difference between us and Iberocoop is that culturally we're a much more diverse bunch then them, therefore within the Wikimedia sphere our interests are less aligned with each other than they.
With neither Craig nor Theo putting representing and developing Asian Wikimedian communities as their main agendum (correct me if I'm wrong), coordinated voting between Asian chapters is probably not in the best interests of individual chapters among us.

Kartika prompt to me that Asian chapters combine are as equal as Iberocoop in terms of quantity; IN, ID, BD, MK, TW, HK, PH : seven. If we can say Asian chapters decided to vote for X and Y, then it means we can actually function regionally. Or we can choose to do it individually, either way i'm cool with it.
