Most of the participants at this year's Wikimania Asia meetup favored for Indonesia. That's okay, but there's another point about hosting it in Australia. Australia's visa policy might result in a reduced number of participation from Asian communities, since that is not as generous as that of Indonesia. So this need to be kept in mind.
