Dear fellow wikipedians/wikimedians,
I'm a long-term contributor to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. I am also a co-founder with Wikimedia India, and I'm currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I am interested in applying for a rapid grant to fund travel and accommodation costs related to a series of Wikipedia meetups and workshops which I intend to schedule and organize in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. While I am acquainted with the small Wikipedia community in Cambodia, I have been unable to locate or contact Laotian and Vietnamese Wikip/medians based in the two countries who are (i) active, and (ii) preferably comfortable revealing their identity in public. I intend to coordinate my efforts with existing volunteers in these two countries (in addition to Cambodia), and would appreciate any help and support from the Wikimedia Asia community of chapters in this regard.
