Hi everyone,
I have strong feelings for Craig, as I know and trust him without question, even when we disagree. He believes in the community, and not just English Wikipedia community. His finance experience is especially important in the current situation. His ability to sink his teeth into data, produce charts, and blog about them shows his suitability. https://lankiveil.wordpress.com/2011/07/30/a-response-to-stu-west/
Theo focuses on meta issues, and he has put in a lot of effort understanding these meta issues. He easily satisfies most of the critiera. I would like to hear which criteria that people dont think he meets. This feedback could be private or on the chapters wiki criteria table. http://chapters.wikimedia.ch/Appointment_process/2012/Criteria_table#Table
I would like to ensure that all candidates are discussed in detail, especially regarding the criteria that were specified in the call for candidates, but also unwritten expectations (which we should document and including in the 2014 call for candidates).
Regarding Alice and Patricio, who do appear to be the other main candidates, they both have many advantages and at this stage I slightly prefer Patricio because he adds more diversity - Jan-Bart is a European, and Arne was WMDE. I would like to hear more about experiences and preferences, as I am happy to go with consensus, and I believe that a regional consensus would be a good starting point.
