I'll be talking about this from a strictly personal point of view, but I'd like to see the following discussed at an Asian chapters meeting, in addition to what Siska has elaborated:

*The direction the movement will take in Asia (particularly in India and the Middle East, two areas which the WMF has declared as priority areas) and the role Asian chapters play in getting us there and keeping that direction
*How Asian chapters will help jumpstart other Asian chapters, as what was agreed upon in Berlin last April (the second point requires then that we invite people who are not necessarily from chapters, but are interested in setting up chapters in their respective home countries)
*Discussion of best practices among chapters to be shared for our mutual benefit (such as projects, funding sources, boosting membership numbers, etc.)

There are a few more, but I can't seem to think of them at the moment.  But I'll be sure to add them in when I discuss them.  I do agree however that such a meeting needs to come up with a clear goal and a clear strategy so that we are not too distracted.

Regards,

Josh

Oops, and also equally important are issues.

Speaking behalf of WMID, as an organization we are interested in:
1. leadership situation for other Asian chapter: how many are yous?
how many are active? how many members? what are their background? what
do you expect when you first establish an organization? where are you
now? what is your situation in regeneration of your board?
2. monetary situation for another Asian chapter: how much does it take
to run an organization in your country? where are you now?
3. doing exchange for university students inside a program (this is
worldwide - not limited to Asian only - either way works though) for
"free knowlege movement"
4. Where are our projects in the map and how we can boost it? (this is
where I need Erik Zachte) For example, is Bangladesh people more
interested in Wikisource than Wikipedia? What are community and
chapter interaction?

Speaking on behalf of myself, I am not interested in:
1. discussing copyright issues related to using Wikipedia trademark -
I'm not interested (long explanation though)
2. discussing where we are in chapter agreement with WMF
