To those who don't know what is meant by "considerably hotter" and "pretty hot" (;-))... according to wunderground.com the maximum temperatures are around 30-33 centigrades with some clouds. In Jerusalem today peak temperature will be about 36 C which is really unusual... :( The average maximum temperate for July in Jerusalem is 29.... however because Jerusalem is dry and not humid most people find the weather here more tolerable than Tel Aviv. The next days will be better, and I hope by the time of the tour day (August 7th) we'll have maximum temperature of about 30-31 in Jerusalem. For East Asian attendees in particular: Today I exchanged opinions by a local who insisted Tel Aviv is rather humid and today is hotter (implying unpleasant), which I respectfully disagree in details. Their perception in temperature and moisture seems apparently different from ours coming from Monsoon Asia, I guess. I bet you'll find this place pretty comfortable, specially sitting inside or in the night.
