Hello all,
This is an open invitation to anyone interested in open access to knowledge (in the
sciences or elsewhere) to come along to a meet-up at El Vino Wine Bar, 125 London Wall, 3
Bastion Highwalk, London EC2Y 5AP on Tues Aug 12. We have the place booked from
18:00-close, and there's £100 behind the bar to start us off.
The event is organised by reps of the Open Knowledge Foundation, PLoS, eLife and the
Wellcome Trust. It will be the fourth LDNOpenDrinks (a sister of SFOpenDrinks in San
Francisco), and going by previous events we usually attract around 30-40 people (and have
some great conversations).
For information on how to find us please visit our
website<http://londonopendrinks.org/>g/>, and follow us on
Twitter<https://twitter.com/LDNOpenDrinks> for more details as the night
approaches.
If you have any questions about the event please direct them to me at
a.dinsmore(a)wellcome.ac.uk.
Thanks,
