While I've been suggesting this in passing, I'm glad a member of the Jury
has come forward to confirm they actually did understand that some people
might have difficulty in making it to a confrence in Haifa, but that it was
a consideration that was raised and considered.
You think that was a bad decision, and it's your right to think so. I

Just to be clear -- I do think everyone has a right to their opinion.
If Moushira believes there is a flaw in the selection process, I would
encourage him to make this known to Wikimanians, so that the process
can be improved and future selections can avoid that mistake.
He seems to keep at the point that if _some_ people can't attend, then
we shouldn't host a Wikimania in that city. With this approach, I feel
we would never hold another Wikimania, as someone is always going
to have difficulties in getting to a host city.
I think your response is the final word on this -- up until now, I've just
been guessing about what the Jury might have considered. Now that
we know it was on the table and Haifa won anyways, I think we've
addressed all that needed to be addressed.
