Please take into account that while some of us don't need visas for Schengen, we could still be asked by immigration officials about our the reason for our trip, and having our registration proof at hand is always... handy :P. This is just to insist on the convenience of sending these confirmation mails ASAP, before everyone is in flight (I'm departing next Monday, but some people from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay do so on Sunday morning, for instance).
