I don't know the English word for "aguafiestas", but anyway: in the security checks at the airports, if you can't turn on your laptop, they may confiscate it and you are going to have a bad time. Be careful with that.

One of our volunteers asked me to put out a call for broken laptops. If you have a broken laptop and you want somebody to help you fix it or you just want to see it recycled, please bring it along to Wikimania!

I imagine lots of us will have broken laptops knocking around, and this could be a great opportunity to bring them back to life or to recycle them properly.

So we have an idea of demand, please email me off-list if you're interested.
