Whitecross Street market is only open at lunchtimes, but it is easily accessible from the Barbican - turn left out the main Silk Street entrance, go straight ahead at the road junction where there are currently roadworks, walk 2 minutes until you get to the market. I've eaten from this market many times and it has almost always been very high quality, although I can't speak directly of the Korean stall.
