you detail-oriented, with a flair for organization and a commitment to
providing fair and honest feedback? Do you speak Espaņol or English
(or better yet, both) fluently? Do you really *love* IRC meetings?
If these things are true for you, the 2009 Wikimania program committee
wants you! We are looking for a few good volunteers to help with such
tasks as:
* recruiting excellent speakers and brainstorming conference topics
* reviewing paper and workshop submissions
* producing a schedule of sessions, once selected
The program committee is a fair amount of work but also a lot of fun.
This is a great way for both local and remote volunteers to help out.
Program committee members will be expected to keep up with program
committee mail and/or attend online meetings, review a selection of
submitted papers and meet reviewing deadlines. Offers to help out in
other ways are also welcome.
