Hi all,<br><br>Following from my recent email, I would like to invite people to put themselves forward who are interested in serving on the Wikimania 2012 jury. Please find &lt;<a href="http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimania/Jury" target="_blank">http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimania/Jury</a>&gt; which is a list of general requirements.<br>

<br>However In short: <br><br>* Please make sure you will have some time to be involved in the selection process, especially between January 1 and the first week of March.<br>* People who have attended Wikimania or who have greatly contributed to a strong bid, or who have run other Wikimedia events; and who are otherwise involved in the Wikimedia movement are preferred.<br>

* There will be a representative of the board, the advisory board, and the WMF staff on the jury. The other members should be an even mix of chapter and non-chapter people; and the jury as a whole should be geographically diverse and have a fair representation of both genders. <br>

* If you are going to be contributing in a large part to a bid for 2012, you are not advised to put your name forth for conflict of interest reasons.<div><br></div><div>If you wish to be involved in the Jury, please email me at <a href="mailto:josephseddon@gmail.com">josephseddon@gmail.com</a></div>
