I'm leaving in 12 hours but still don't know where I'm staying.
So far, I hear that the meeting point is the venue:
Baltic Philharmonic, Polska Filharmonia Bałtycka im. Fryderyka Chopina
My flight arrives in Gdansk Tuesday 1 PM, so hope to find someone at
the Philharmonic who can tell me where to go!

Hi,
Due to some issues with the Council of Chapters meeting organization we need to speak to the person in charge of this effort. Please contact Marcin Cieslak and myself - please provide us with your skype id or phone number. We need to talk to you soon as we are working finalizing the printed version of the program.
Best regards,
Jacek Jankowski

Hi from London,
as said already, Japanese Wikimedians are planning a meeting along the
conference, getting streaming
from the venue, but as usual, there will be concerns with stability on
connection. And besides that,
it'll be quite helpful for the people in Japan (and I suppose most of
them haven't taken part in 'mania)
to have images from the venue.
On the other hand, I have no camera at all.
So I'd ask you 'maniacs, specially those who will arrive before its
opening, to upload your photos before the conference,
even some of them would be quite helpful we think. Photos of the
venue etc .... will be very appreciated.
Thank you for your attention and all cooperation,
Cheers and see you soon!

hey folks,
is there a meeting place where we can meet up before wikimania? Preferrably
with internet? I will arrive the 5th already, and it would be nice to meet
up with folks.
Best,
Lodewijk
As you name it:
I know that the registration confirmation mails have been sent yesterday, but I still haven't received something.
I will start on Monday morning and arrive on Tuesday, with my wife and 9 month old son what I have pointed out on the registration form. While I personally am adventurous enough to not care to much about the situation it is different when travelling with the family and a small child.
Regards,
/Manuel

I'm starting my journey to Gdansk tomorrow and it would be really nice
to know where I'm going to be staying when I arrive... My usual
travelling routine includes writing the address of my accommodation in
my notebook the night before I leave to go somewhere and I'm rather
uncomfortable not being able to do that.

I've just gotten a local Polish sim card, and posted my # on my
wikimania2010 userpage. If others are getting local numbers, you may
want to do the same. Also, people organizing their own pub crawls and
meals early this week, please post a note about what you're doing
online...

I love to know when all of the registration confirmation emails have
been sent. I've not yet received one, and am wondering how long I
should wait. Perhaps I should register a second time just to make
sure? Some process guidance would be helpful.
Kurt :-)
