Hi everyone,
Wiki Loves Monuments international team will attend Wikimedia Conference in
Berlin <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Conference_2017> and we
are eager to see you and engage with you if you will be attending the
conference. To facilitate this, we will host a session as part of the
conference to discuss with you the plans for Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 and
how you can engage with this annual event.
The session is called New ambitions for Wiki Loves Monuments and is
described at length on the conference page
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Conference_2017/Program/24>. If
you are interested to learn about Wiki Loves Monuments, sign up to organize
for the 2017 contest, learn about the new ways to participate in Wiki Loves
Monuments beyond the photo competition, or share your challenges and ask
questions the session at the conference is the best place to start these
conversations.
Not attending the conference? We will keep this mailing list updated with
the material that we use during the presentation. You are also encouraged
to send a friend or colleague on your behalf, or read more about our major
initiatives for 2017
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_International_Team_meeting_2017/Day_3#Projects>
and ask questions on this mailing list.
For those of you who will be in Berlin, we do look forward to seeing you in
the session! :) Note that the schedule for the conference, once finalized, will
be shared on wiki
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Conference_2017/Schedule>. In
the mean time, we have a tentative schedule for this session

on Friday, March 31, at 17:30 local time.
Best,
Lily, on behalf of Wiki Loves Monuments international team
