In Germany, we usually don&#39;t have any identifier at all (or every city starts counting from 1, so that&#39;s no help). We will identify via adress and categorize per city/municipality. If you&#39;re interested in our solution, look at the de-nrw campaign on prototype.<div>

In the country Luxembourg we have monuments, but so far we know these monuments have no unique identifier. It seems an important aspect of the monument lists in other countries (Belgium, Netherlands, etc) that the photo&#39;s have an identifier so that they are easily matched with the monument lists. As we know nothing about unique identifiers, how do who solve that situation?<br>

- Should we leave the monuments without unique identifier?<br>
- Should we create our own unique identifier? Like one based on for example the community with us giving a number to a monument in the order of when a monument got listed?<br>
- Anyone a idea?<br>
